Can someone tell me one occasion when Jesus saw a fellow human suffering and prayed to the Father to take care while trusting in His Providence for that person -----while He Himself did nothing ?

Am asking because  I come across many  Pastors in today's Church who  say they are highly advanced  in their prayer life and so they depend totally on God to help  those in desperate and unjust situations where 'action' is required.

I know of course when we are in God's Presence [ like the episode of Mary and Martha] , the  Best thing to do is to BE with Him and do nothing ].

But I've heard people  use this episode to justify their own inaction in the face of serious injustices  that fellow human beings are going through.
