A little about yourself, including the issues and causes closest to your heart
I am the oldest of five. My parents are farmers. I was baptized at the age of 12. I joined the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits) in 1973 and was ordained in 1983.
Since the year of 2000 I have been involed in interreligious dialogue, especially with the Muslims. For the last five years I have been accompanying women and their children who suffer from domestic violence.

Hello Father. Welcome to our Ecclesia of Women in Asia network. Nunuk recommended you highly, said she needs a friend in the Church there in Indonesia. A real live Jesuit is no mean catch, where friends are concerned. Anyway, I see you're also involved with Muslims. We have a big group here that's doing peacework in Mindanao. Most of them belong to the third order of Carmelites or a Carmelite group. I'm trying to animate this network (the women theologians of EWA aren't naturally denizens of the internet) so I hope you can begin some interesting discussions on peace because that's the theme of our forthcoming fourth conference to be held in Thailand end of August this year.
