"Hi Astrid, how are you? Is EWA going to publish the papers? I've been invited to contribute to a journal and was thinking of contributing my piece if EWA wouldn't use it. I hope to hear from you soon! Cheers, Sophie"

Is just peace possible?

Hello All,For EWA4, I will be presenting a paper on Asian Protestant women's perspectives on peace. Among the key documents I will be referring to is the World Council of Churches Initial Statement Towards an Ecumenical Declaration on Just Peace. Please find it attached. The paper is currently being discussed internationally as an effort to evaluate how far the churches have gone since the Decade to Overcome Violence began in 2000. Feedback will be taken up at the International Ecumenical Peace…See More

Hi Sophie,
Definitely we will be using your paper as part of a book EWA will be publishing. At the moment we are in the process of looking for a publisher and I am in contact with 2 already. By February next year we hope to finalize the manuscript. So, if possible, reserve this paper for EWA's book. Thanks much for your contribution.

Hi Manang. Welcome to our EWA community in the web. I didn't notice that you'd joined. I thought ning.com informs me when people I invited sign up. Anyway, I'm glad that the first person who wrote on your peace question is my friend Annie. Annie's in Canada and she tells me she's technologically challenged. Now she's ready to make comments on other people's walls.

I hope you can upload some of your articles here. We need to make this community more active.
