Educational Background
M.Ed. in TESOL, B.Ed. in ESL, Grad.Dip in R.E.., Dip.Teaching (All done in Australia)
Work, Church, NGO experience
Most of the time I work with the English education. At the moment I am the English Consultant in a Salesian School in the southern part of Thailand called Saengthong Vittaya School in Hat Yai. There are 2800 students in this school. Some occasions I act as an interpreter for various religious groups which are in need especialy during the Tsunami in the southern part of Thailand. I was helping in many kinds of traslation e.g., news, document, grants, between various organizations, etc. I also have helped some religious orders in Thailand with the translation of their documents and other religious articles.
A little about yourself, including the issues and causes closest to your heart
I am the youngest of 10 children in the Likhittam family. I have 2 brothers who are priests, one is a Redemtoritst and the other is a diocean priest. I have a sister who is a nun in St. Paul de Charter Order. I like nature and enjoy being with the Lord through nature walk. I love angels and have special devotion to my guardian angel. I love music. I enjoy being with and helping people. I am quite creative and love teaching because I learn many more things with the children as I teach them and I love laughing, playing with them. There is much fun among God's children.
I can't tolerate any injustice issues. I fight for it and sometimes I am in trouble because I speak up or act it out to help the unvoiced people. Anyhow, I believe that God knows everything and that Jesus is the BEST person on earth who set a good example for me to follow in the line of LOVE and to be just to all. I would like to conclude with Micah 6:8 which says: "This is what Yahweh asks of you, To act justly, to love tenderly and to walk humbly with your God." And this is very close to my heart that I try to do each day of my life.

Hello Petra. Welcome to our Ecclesia of Women in Asia forum. I'm so glad you've joined and I enjoyed reading your profile information. You are such a beautiful person. Micah 6:8 is a beautiful verse to live by. Family of 10, like mine. Mommy ended her/our nightly rosary with a prayer for vocations to the priesthood and to the convent. All of us got married.

What is PBVM? My youngest son is a 3rd year High-School student in a Don Bosco technical school about 45 minutes away from where we live. Three of my 4 brothers studied in this school.

Feel free to post discussions on nature, angels, music, teaching, children, injustice, vocations, and whatever you feel like writing about in our forum pages.
